Contemporary artist Yu Wendi, born in Taiwan, obtained double doctorate degrees from the Central Academy of Fine Arts and Taiwan Normal University. Influenced by multiculturalism, her paintings are also full of an ability to think outside of ordinary logic and a dreamy sense of whimsy.
She is good at creating with contemporary ink painting combined with traditional meticulous brushwork techniques. The eclectic combination of traditional Chinese ink painting art and Western thought is one of her highlights. Her paintings are delicate and transparent, dreamlike, sweet and soft.
